some things I didn't want to say today
- I think about death, and the actual process of dying, almost every single day
- I view a lot of my life from a 3rd person (or even omniscient) perspective - and often, I wonder if that makes me weird, or defective or something
- I seize the day but rarely live in the moment
- I think it's cute when Pucker sneezes
- I think it's gross when Mick or Rollie sneezes
- I wonder if there will ever be a time in my life I can chapter "the zen of Kat", instead of the "tao of Kat". Not that Tao is bad... it's just not zen, y'know?
- I can be negative
- I take a very long time to warm up to people. The 1st time I meet you is likely going to be quite a chilly experience, and I don't apologize for that. If you're true, you'll get it, and we'll wind up friends.
- I blame my Pisces moon for a lot of those emotions I really don't understand as a Libra
- I talk. A lot.
- If my husband isn't snoring at night I feel compelled to check his breathing. Let me clarify by saying "if I don't see movement or feel breath I can't get back to sleep".
- I've noticed that there are some mid-sized birds in my area that really look like they're working hard to maintain flight-balance. Watching their center/core try to steer straight is really like watching a little kid trying to maintain balance on a bicycle the first few times after they learned how to ride one without training wheels.
- I just noticed, the other day, that ducks have to flap their wings almost 3 times faster than any other bird their size. And the way they flatten their necks out when they fly, it's clear they have the impression they're going fast enough to consider aerodynamics are a factor in getting "there" faster or slower.
- If it's too sweet I can't really eat it, not usually anyway.
- I guess most times I'd rather be on the outside looking in. Not all the time, but most times.
- People think about souls, and heaven, and 2nd lives, and reincarnation, and all of those things we're so special and privileged to own as human experiences. But when I look at my dog, and I look at my cat, and I look at the beautiful birds I see on Sunrise Earth, and different types of primates and other "wildlife" I think... y'know... that's really not fair.
- The rain in Spain stays mainly on the plain.
- I am the type of person who would clean before the maid arrives.
- I don't care what my hair looks like. I don't wear dresses. And I'd rather be outside. But, I do wear deodorant. (hey, a girl's gotta draw the line somewhere)
- If I didn't become a geophysicist I probably would have become a camera person for a TV show or for a film company or something - if I was ever made knowledgeable these were even options.
- I'm mostly just boring.
- I wonder if my first thoughts are poetic and I ruin them by thinking.
- I think learning how to write ruined the purity of writing
- Why do I still think I'm going to eat the whole thing? I never ever do!

- What is it about human nature that causes us to "want". No matter how much we have it always seems we want more.
- I dream in color. Every night. Bar none. I have to say it again.
- When my husband tells me my breath - eh hem-, that I could "use a tic-tac right now", it makes me want to kiss him even more.
- There's just some people I cannot help being oppositional with, and trust me, I try not to, in my head, but I just can't seem to stop.
- Someone's going to start a revolution, I just know it. I hope it's a positive one. I hope it brings human existence to a higher spiritual level. And I hope I'm here to witness the change.
- I've met lower level demons in my dreams before, and I've sat with the devil in a somewhat empty diner... Did I mention I dream in color, every single night, bar none?

- My bat size of choice used to be a 36. A 38 if it was available. Aluminum. The sweet spot felt a mile long...

- I read this the other day and it's what I've been trying to say my whole life... I was unbelievably thrilled that someone else had already put it into words. "The point isn't to live forever, it's to create something that will". <-------- That. Is me. If you know me, you knew that.
