You "dig"?

I was thinking about this earlier, figured I'd blog it right now just because it's on my mind again. Do you ever think about when you were younger and how you used to look forward to your life as an adult and you'd say things like "When I'm older I'm gonna ...." Who knows what you said, "...be a broadway dancer" ... or something crazy like that. Unless, of course, you actually are a broadway dancer, then I apologize. But really, I mean... when you were a kid they told you you could be anything you wanted. Were they right?

I think they were right, but I was the one who got in my own way. From the time when I was really young to highschool age I really thought I would become an actress. There came a point before I ever really got to take a stab at it that my practical upbringing kicked in and chose a more accessible field of study.

So, I don't really know if they were right or wrong, but I don't question it too much because I love my life and where it has taken me.
