Birthday Pie :)
Every year my mom asks me, "what do you want for your birthday?" I know she wants to buy me something to celebrate but the only thing I have on my mind is mom's apple pie. :) I'm lucky because my birthday is in October, so the apples are crisp, fresh, local, and plentiful. I usually get 2 pies for my birthday, which I hold-off on baking as long as I can... This pie... Is definitely worth waiting for. It's SO yummy!
Another thing that makes my birthday pie special is that I get the biggest first piece. I live with 2 "dudes", I get this honor once a year. Trust me, it's worth blogging about. ;)
